About Fluffy
Fluffies are cute and fuzzy aliens from outer space, discovered by astronauts on a mission to Mars. Nobody knows where they really came from. All we really know is that Fluffies have a ravenous appetite for the flesh of human beings - especially naughty ones.
The Fluffy films are parodies of sci-fi/horror films about aliens and murderous beasts, but like all horror films, they are also parables. The Bible tells us the wages of sin is death, and as Jamie Kennedy pointed out in Scream, the surest way to die in a horror film is to have sex outside of marriage. That said, Fluffy can be used as a ministry tool, or simply enjoyed as a delicious piece of horror-comedy fluff... pun most certainly intended.
Our story begins in an apocalyptic world where humans have become prey for a cute and fuzzy alien race known as the Fluffies. Kit, a brave survivor in search of food, escapes a Fluffy attach with the aid of Trish Angel, one of the astronauts from the space expedition that brought Fluffy back to Earth. Kit's comrades try to send Trish away, blaming her for the alien outbreak. But Trish shares the real story of how Fluffy came to Earth and got loose, thanks to a careless, rule breaking astronaut who just wanted to cheat on his wife.
Two years have passed since the Fluffy War ended at the Battle of New York. Humanity has returned to it's normal, self-absorbed routine, but Fluffy was not totally wiped out. When the cute and fuzzy bringer of death rises again, former space commander Stone Brockman calls on his old ship mate Trish Angel to once again battle Fluffy. Dead Moon Rising's Erica Goldsmith takes over the role of Trish in this action-packed sequel.
More to Come?
The script for Fluffy 3 is in development by Righteous Insanity. If schedules allow, we hope to shoot Fluffy 3 in 2009 with Erica Goldsmith and Herschel Zahnd III reprising their roles as Trish Angel and Stone Brockman. Look for other past Fluffy cast members to appear. Most will be playing new roles, seeing how very few people survive a Fluffy movie. There is also a feature film script in the works. There are no definite plans or time tables for making the feature, but in the Fluffyverse, anything is possible.
